Daily Log

In class today, we were taught to place a 'Daily Log' sub page underneath our Unit 3 and 4 main pages on our wix accounts. Nothing new was learned today as far as information goes. I had no difficulties with understanding everything that was taught. But I did get to hear more of an expansion on what 'Constraints' were.
During class, We learned that we were now able to start our catapult project today if we've finished the previous assignments. Nothing new was learned today. The only diifficulty I had today was managing my time effectively. Everything was explained and fairly easy to understand today.

Today in class, we reviewed steps 3 and 4 of the Engineering Design Process. Nothing new was taught today. The only particularly difficult thing was applying the way we did Full-Scale drawings to the way we're doing it now with our catapults. I hope that the Full-Scale Drawings are expanded more than just "Draw it from the side". Did we need specific details on how big the craft sticks are? Are we able to use materials that aren't available at school? Is a "Box-Catapult" sufficient?

At the beginning of class, we learned how to effectively answer steps #5 & #6 of the design process on our e-folio, cataloged in our Catapult activity sub-page. Nothing new was learned today, other than to remember to review past projects if difficulty setting up the current project is a problem. Nothing was needed to be expanded on.

Class today was mostly just about building our actual catapults, and checking over our warm-ups and e-folio uploads. Nothing new was learned. No difficulty so far. Everything was explained just fine.

Today we reviewed steps 9 & 10 of the design process; Testing & Evaluating, and Refining/Improving. Other than that, it was catapult work day. No difficulties today, everything went pretty smoothly. The glue gun took a while to heat up but that's normal.

In class, we went over steps 11 & 12 of the design process as a warm-up. Again, it was catapult working day. So no new materials were learned. No difficulties, except that I sliced my thumb open with a drill bit. That made it hard to work because I'm so sensitive to blood. Otherwise, nothing needed to be expanded on.
Today, we went over questions that we haven't touched since the beginning of the year regarding technology history. Our warm up was a series of questions we will need to study and review for the post-assessment that we will have 2 classes from now. Otherwise, no new information was learned. No difficulties.

Today, although not present in class, we seem to have just had a day to work on our catapult projects. It seems they had a productive work day. No difficulties as far as I know.
I wasn't present in class this day either, but there seems to have been just another work day. But finalizing their E-folios as far as I know. Yet another productive work day perhaps?
I am finally back to class today. So far, we have recapped what we have needed to have on our E-folios. Nothing new was learned, though I plan to study for the post-assessment we are supposed to have next class. No difficulties, though I am a little worried about the test.

Today we finally took our Mid-term/Post-Assessment. Nothing new was learned, other than some of the material on the Mid-term that I didn't study as often as the other subjects. No difficulties, Nothing to be expanded on.
